Welcome to the home page of Melksham Baptist Church.  We are a fellowship of some 70 members and friends who try to follow the example of Jesus Christ as we live our lives. One worship services is held each Sunday, three groups meet regularly twice a month in homes for discussion and prayer, and the church choir meet for practice (and hilarity!) every week. Through our premises we support the Broughton Road Playgroup and Little Teddies and the Melksham & Corsham Gateway Club. A number of social events are held each month, some under the auspices of Samaritan's Purse International (which is a charity in which we have a special interest). See the events and diary pages if you are interested in coming along. A Funshine Club for children aged from 5 to 9 years old meets every Friday at 6.00pm during term-time and there is Junior Church every Sunday morning for young people of all ages. As part of the Melksham Family of Churches we offer an Alpha Course every autumn. |
